RavenRissy has two degrees, one in Graphic Design and the other is a Bachelor of Arts in the Art and Archaeology of the Ancient Near East specializing in Egyptology, Archaeology and Art History from Emily Carr University of Art and Design and The University of British Columbia, Canada. She has worked, lived and studied overseas in locations such as Cyprus, Italy, Germany and Australia.

RavenRissy is a practicing and teaching pagan with 15+ years of experience, in Australia, Canada and the USA. She is a practicing Heathen Völva and Bandruí (Druidess) who works within realms of the art of Seidr, and the otherworlds, but has knowledge in Vanir, Aesir, Icelandic, Celtic, British Tradition, Shamanism,Wicca, Egyptian, Roman, Greek, Mesopotamian, and Thrusian/Nordic mythologies.

RavenRissy has worked and studied with Lindy-Fae Hella from Wardruna, Völva: Inger Johanna Trombrog Syverud from Norway, Völva: Cheryl Price from Vancouver Canada, and various other amazing people. She is also a member of The Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids and is a student of their Magical University of Druidry. RavenRissy is an accomplished musician, with her band Hem Netjer and her music video “Anubis” is the only video out with Ancient Middle Egyptian Hieroglyphs written and hand drawn by her hand (www.hemnetjer.band).

She is very honored to hold the title of May Queen (2021-2022) within a large pagan organization from the Pacific Northwest and has also created and been on the council of other pagan groups, such as; The Wyld Women's Weekend (cofounder), Pagan Folk Nights (founder, online and in person, still ongoing), Occult Club (co-leader) and within other pagan bands such as The Wyrding Way (front female vocalist). She is very well practiced with running, teaching and leading one on one, small and large group rituals/workshops of up to 60+ people, as well as holding sacred space for members within her community, virtually and in person.

As The Teaching Collective Chair and teacher with the Fellowship of Fire and Ice, she strives to create a safe and welcoming space for all. She specializes in classes on Norse Magic and Mysticism (Seidr) and Fundamentals of Utiseta, The Nordic Self, Nordic Necromancy. Magically, her specializations include: Galdrastafir and sigil magic, Seidr and trance work, music and magic, defensive and offensive magic, magical safety, diagnosis and healing magic, divination and readings outside the usual Rider-Waite tarot
(using Greek casting lots, Eldur futhark and Icelandic Futhark, oracle cards and intuitive tarot, ogham), running ritual, folk magic, primal magic, research and dissemination, building relationship with deity, the Norse parts of the self, loss and grief in spirituality, connecting to the elements, underworld magicks and connecting to magical tools.
