
Lore Path
Lore classes are for practitioners who have some more experience or who have completed introductory work and want to learn more about myth and lore. These classes delve deeper into specific aspects of modern Heathen spirituality and how modern practitioners understand them.
History and Lore
History and myth are central to modern Heathen spirituality. This class introduces students to core concepts for understanding the lore, how history is produced, and the ways people interpret the lore in modern practice. This class consists of six, one hour a week sessions held on Zoom.
Prerequisites: None!
The Nordic Gods
This class discusses deities, their tribal affiliations such as Aesir and Vanir, ancient and modern interpretations and associations, where they come up in the lore, and gives students a chance to discuss their own experiences with them.

Nordic Cosmology
This class is designed to give the student an understanding of where the various worlds/realms are located upon Yggdrasil, and will also include other important landmarks and beings of the World Tree that belong outside of the nine realms but are still important to the function and cosmology of the universe such as the Well of Urd, Ithavoll, and various realms of individual gods.
Prerequisites: None!
Death and the Dead
This class discusses the various afterlife options in Norse Paganism, what they are like, and how you end up there. This course will also discuss which deities watch over these realms, other beings you might encounter in those places, and fates beyond death where they apply.

Nordic Animism
Vaettir is a catch-all term to describe many of the beings found on Midgard and the other worlds upon Yggdrasil. They cover everything from spirits and entities associated with a specific place or land, to jotuns/giants, and alfar/elves. This class takes a closer look at what all can be considered Vaettir and how you can work with them in your modern practice.

Modern Heathenry
The modern Heathen movement is a fairly recent, dynamic new religious movement that has emerged since the 1970s. This class will introduce students to the main tendencies within modern Heathenry, discuss their origins and influences, and offer further perspective on how this community has developed. This class consists of six, one hour a week sessions held on Zoom.
