Two of the most common & widespread uses of magical practices in the world are protecting from harm and inflicting retribution. In times of trouble, hexing and warding are especially popular ways that people use to assert their agency over uncertain conditions. Both forms of practice are accepted elements of Heathen mysticism provided the practitioner is willing to accept the consequences of what they do. In this two-hour workshop, students will be taught the basics of magical attack and defense, how to construct their own simple workings, and the non-metaphysical reasons why these practices still retain power and can influence events.
